Begun over 10 years ago, the Military Families Program of Associated Churches sought to assist families with loved ones deployed overseas. In recent years the program has increased in scope as it works with chaplains, family assistance specialists, case managers, employment coordinators, and vocational rehabilitation managers.

"As increasing numbers of men and women return home from active duty, there are a wide variety of ways we can help them with the transition," says Roger Reece, Executive Pastor of Associated Churches. "However, for us to help with job placement, emergency housing, and advocacy in general, we need many hands and hearts and dollars to make it work. Attending the Mulligans for the Military Golf Outing is an easy and fun way for people to help those who have served our country and community," Reece concluded.

Other sponsors for the event include: Raymond James, STAR 88.3, Trolley Steaks & Seafood, and Bushey's Windows, Doors and Sunrooms.
