As a parent, maybe you are finding it hard to teach your kids about giving this holiday season. Well, if that's the case, you and your family can bless underprivileged children around the world with just a shoebox. Yes, a simple shoebox can not only show these children God's love in a tangible way, but it can also spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse that sends Christmas gifts to in need communities around the world. These gifts are given to the ministry by people just like you who fill their shoeboxes with small toys and other Christmas goodies. The boxes are then distributed to each village's local church where Operation Christmas Child partners with the church leaders to creatively present the Gospel, and pass out the gifts to all children present. The giving does not stop there. Afterward the children are encouraged to further their relationship with Christ through ministry done at their local church.

To kick off our Operation Christmas Child event, we are going to Rock the Boxes with Matthew West, November 9th at IPFW! You can even pick up a box to fill with gifts at the concert! For ticket info and more about the event visit the concert's page on our website!

We are also planning a van stop October 28th to make it convenient for you to pick up boxes, and even win tickets to the Matthew West Rock the Boxes concert! Our van will be parked outside of Darlington Holiday Warehouse off Airport Expressway on from 12pm to 3pm so you can stop by and visit us!

For you and your family, all you need to do is fill a shoebox, and drop it off during collection week (November 12-19) at one of these locations around Fort Wayne:
