Wednesday, March 20, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. “Short Hikes for Short Legs:  Seeds”.  Meet at the Eagle Marsh barn, 6801 Engle Road, Fort Wayne for the first in this new learning series for preschool children ages 3 to 5.  The program will start in the barn with a 30 minute hands-on interactive activity to learn about seeds, including planting a wildflower to take home, followed by a 20-30 minute hike reinforcing the reinforcing the indoor learning.  Dress warmly!  (Children must be accompanied by a parent or caretaker; to bring a group, call to schedule at another time.)  Sponsored by Little River Wetlands Project.  Free.  Contact l.hincks@lrwp.org or 260-478-2515 for information.
