Fandana Festival 2011

STAR 88.3 partnered with Huntington University to bring Fandana Festival to Huntington, IN on August 11, 12, and 13.  Fandana was a three day event  featuring two music stages and over thirty local, regional, and national bands including Switchfoot, Sidewalk Prophets, Superchic[k], BarlowGirl, Stellar Kart, Josh Wilson, Todd Agnew, 33 Miles, and Attaboy and many more.  The ministries supported at Fandana were AK 47 and Traffic Jam, both of which deal with ending slavery throughout the world.  The event also featured Partner and Play, an indie battle of the bands event.  The winner of this year's contest was Not By Chance.  Not just about music, Fandana included independent films and local artist gallery.  The festival contained fun and opportunities for fans and apiring artists alike.
