Digital Media Arts Faculty
The Department of Digital Media Arts at Huntington University is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure-track position in digital media arts beginning in August 2014. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching 3D character animation for games and video, Game Design and 2D computer animation/motion graphics.
The Digital Media Arts department currently consists of four faculty members offering a Digital Media Arts major with a concentration in Animation, Film Production, or Film Studies and Fusion Media. There are currently 140 DMA majors in the department.
• MFA (or near completion) expected
• Animation and/or gaming studio production experience in:
• 3d character animation
• 3d modeling for games
• Game design
• Game authoring
• VFX and motion graphics
• Energetic, student-centered, effective teacher-mentor
• Commitment to Christian faith and to faith-learning integration
• Commitment to Christian liberal arts education
Primary software tools are Maya, Mudbox, Z-Brush, Unity, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Salary and rank are dependent upon qualifications and experience.
