Buisness Office Receptionist
PRIMARY DUTY Answer inquiries and obtain information for general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Answers telephone, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages • Greets visitors entering establishment and directs or escorts them to specific destinations • Collects, sorts distributes and prepares mail, messages and courier deliveries • Performs work processing duties as assigned • Reports any issues or problems that may arise to the office manager • Complies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards • Assists families and other visitors as needed • Attends in-services and other required meetings • Performs other duties and task as assigned
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS • High School diploma or equivalent preferred; a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience; or and equivalent combination of education and experience. • Reads and interprets documents; ability to write simple messages and correspondence • Writes clearly and informatively; able to read and interpret written information • Talks to others to convey information effectively; speaks to others clearly; ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences • Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time • Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepts responsibility for own actions • Proficient in use of desktop computers, fax machines, scanners, copiers • Proficient MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Proficient Multi-line telephone systems
