Bev Lubs-Operation Christmas Child

Listen here!

Today Melissa Montana talks with Bev Lubs, Operation Christmas Child, about filling shoeboxes with small gifts that will be given to children in great need around the world. As a parent maybe you are finding it hard to teach your kids about giving this holiday season. Well, if that's the case, you and your family can bless underprivileged children around the world with just a shoebox. Yes, a simple shoebox can not only show these children God's love in a tangible way, but it can also spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse that sends Christmas gifts to in need communities around the world. These gifts are given to the ministry by people just like you who fill their shoeboxes with small toys and other Christmas goodies. The boxes are then distributed to each village's local church where Operation Christmas Child partners with the church leaders to creatively present the Gospel, and pass out the gifts to all children present. The giving does not stop there. Afterward the children are encouraged to further their relationship with Christ through ministry done at their local church. - See more at:
