Christmas at Charis House

Listen here!

Today Melissa Montana talks with Toni Lovell, Program Director of Rescue Mission, about their upcoming Christmas drop off.  With all the talk of sending Christmas gifts overseas, maybe you and your family are trying to get involved right here in Fort Wayne. If you are searching for a way to share the holiday spirit with your own community, you can impact the women and children at Charis House this winter by donating Christmas gifts to the organization. Charis House is one of the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission’s ministries that houses homeless women and their children so they can heal and move forward with their lives. Charis House's restorative programs equip the women to find jobs and housing, learn about financial and emotional stability, and most of all, grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Charis House has been such a blessing to countless families throughout Fort Wayne, allowing the residents to experience living in a true home setting. Like most households, the organization loves to celebrate Christmas! With so many women and children being served, Charis House needs a little bit of help to make these families' Christmas wishes come true. That's where you come in! From November 29 to December 16, Charis House will be collecting Christmas gifts at various locations around the Fort Wayne area.  For more info
