Tools for School 2014

With back to school time comes new folders, crayon boxes, and sets of colored pencils. But, many students in our area, (and their parents) dread this time of year, because it means another time they cannot provide. You can help alleviate that anxiety by grabbing a few extra items and leaving them with the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army Tools for School program helps to compensate for some of these basic expenses by supplying children with book bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, etc for students in grades K – 12.  This program operates on the charity of the community who donate needed supplies during the summer months along with our partnership with WANE TV.

Drop off your items in any of the Red Tools for School barrels which can be found at many locations around the community or you can bring you donations to the 2901 N. Clinton St. Salvation Army location. Donations accepted through August 8.

Barrel Locations include the following sites.

St Anne Home
Walgreens
Wal-Mart
