My grandmother had a yorkie--Cinders--since he was 3 months old...he was now ten. He hated the mailman and she was always afraid he would get out and bite the man, because the yorkie did that before. Plus, I am her granddaughter and when I went to pick him up yesterday he growled at me. She knew what had to be done, but she didn't want to do it. She would call the vet, and tell them to put him to sleep, but then she would call back and say don't. Finally she did. They called her telling he was gone. She burst into tears. I have never seen my grandmother cry before and it stung my heart to see her that way. Later, when she asked me to carry out his pen, she grew angry, slamming doors and saying things. She blames my grandfather for this, because he couldn't move the mailbox, could he? She is very, very upset and I didn't know what to say to her, I mean, her yorkie that she has had for ten years she had to put to sleep! Please pray for her.
