Infertility Issues

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for over a year and a half now and while we know that God is trying to teach us something during this trial it is really wearing on us. We go to the doctors in May for testing to see if there is any problems. I just ask for prayers that God will allow us to have a baby and keep our marriage strong during this "waiting period" period that we are going through.

My husband and I had the same difficulties. The only thing that got us through that difficult time was leaning on God and each other. God blessed us with a little girl two years ago and I thank Him every day for the joy He brought into our lives. It didn’t happen when I thought it should, but I wouldn’t change His plan for anything now. My prayers are with you!

Sometimes God works in mysterious ways. I hope you are able to have your own baby soon, and if you cannot (heaven forbid) consider adoption or getting active with the children in your community. One of my dear friends was unable to have children, and he is now a happy youth pastor. Not saying you have to become a youth pastor, but you can always become active with the kids in your community who do not have a positive home situation. You can change lives without creating one.
