Lonely and afraid

I have for a long time been in love with my best friend, we even dated for a little while. However, things have gone on and he got married. His marrage is up and down. Him and I dont hang out or talk much anymore and I really miss him so much. I have prayed every day for a least a year that God would some how bring us close again. Im sure God has his reasons for this , but I have not truly been over this. I think of him often and everything around me reminds me of him. I don't think I have ever loved someone as much as I do him. I feel a lot of road blocks in the way but hope that in time we can be close again. Please pray for this issue

In Psalm 119:73-74, the psalmist writes, “Your hands have made and fashioned me; give me understanding that I may learn your commandments. Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice because I have hoped in your word.” You are right, God must have His reasons. God knows you better than anyone and sees your lonliness. I pray that you will understand God’s plan for you and trust him with your future.

Praying for you! I feel your pain as I am experiencing something very similar. Continue trusting in God and knowing He has a plan. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jer 29:11
