Longing for a full-time job and to find my future wife.

Hi, my name is Zach Peterman and I am currently working several different part-time jobs throughout the year, while trying to find a full-time job.  I also live with my mother and I'm fearful that I will probably be living with her for the rest of this life.  I have also been single for all of my life and I'm trying to trust God with the job and waiting for His perfect timing on these two things.  I feel pressured by family and friends, and like an outsider when I see all of my friends getting married and dating and here I am, single.  I am very tired and weary of working so many different part-time jobs and I look forward to the day when God blesses me with romance and a full-time job.  I have attended job fairs, career expos, submitted my resume to online databases and all kinds of different things to try and find a full-time job, but nothing seems to come to fruition.  I graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Recreation, with an emphasis in Sport Management.  If you all would please pray for me, I would sincerely appreciate it.

I have been single more of my life than partnered and I can tell you that there are blessings in both roles.  Embrace the purpose God has for you which apparently right now is to navigate life independently.  I have never had kids but befriended an adorable neighbor when she was only 4 years old and now is almost 14.  We have been friends this entire time.  She has no siblings.  If I had not been single, I could not have been the mentor to her that God wanted me to be even though I had different plans.  I would not trade what I have shared w this young lady for any romantic partner in the world.  I have also been out of work for 17 months but mow lawns and paint to make ends meet.

So know that there are many like you who are struggling.  Stay in faith by watching Joel Osteen who is a great encourager and reading spiritual based books and keep listening to Christian music.  Keep all other negativity out of your life what you watch on tv, the people you associate with etc.

Thank you both for your wonderful words of encouragement and prayers!  I am so blessed to have brothers and sisters in Christ that care about me as much as you both do.  May God bless both of you richly and abundantly for the rest of your time here in this world, before we go Home to be with our Father.
