my lovely wife needs help

my wife is strugling to learn forgiveness. She was abused in her childhood by her parents and now struggles to be around her family. Her parents denie this. She needs help learnng to place boundrys so she can have a relationship with all her family it is afecting her hole life she also needs help with finding a job I as her husband just want my old wife back and i thik forgiveness is the first step she needs to take to get were God wants her

I said a prayer for you and your wife this morning. You are right on the forgiveness issue. I understand her position but she needs to do this because she deserves it not because they do. A good counselor can help her with boundaries and dealing with toxic relationships.
