I am lifting you in my prayers.  As a child we don’t want to loose our parents and do not always understand their reasons or agree with their choices.  You must be terribly scared and hurting for your mother.  I pray God comforts you, that you allow his grace to surround you and carry you today and always.  Know you are not walking this journey alone, He is always with you.  I ask that God give you strength and wisdom.
I am lifting your mother in prayer.  She is hurting terribly as well.  I pray that she has the strength to allow God’s will to work in her life.  And not that will of hers.  I pray she find comfort, love, God’s healing hand upon her and that she feels the love you have for her.
Blessings,
Christine

I understand how your Mother feels…recently it seems as if everything inside of me is falling apart.  Seven months ago I found out I have Diabetes…and my Doctor was very negative about it…I was devastated
After the shock wore off I started searching the internet talking to others with Diabetes and found ways I can control it…and I am.
Well now I have found out about some blockages I have and again it bummed me out…but again I am searching for ways to get myself healthy by doing what I can do…and leaving the rest to the Lord!

Maybe your Mom is in shock and needs time to absorb the fear and anxiety she is feeling…she may be depressed for awhile…maybe you can help her get a fighting spirit by you investigating everything about the cancer she has….and by doing what you are doing which is asking for the Lords help and asking for prayer.  Changing our diet even a little at a time is a great start!!!  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  Linda

I am praying for you. I have seen a friend of my struggle with diabites, lung issues and his heart is only beating at 10 % he has pushed everyone close to him away and had even tried hating God. It is very scary and hard when you find out you are ill or someone you know. Keep your fait in God and he will be there for the two of you. I pray that God will help your mother, keep you both strong in your faith and that he will heal the cancer and help her pain. Gods blessings!

I am praying for you & your mother. I want you both to know that there is HOPE and ENCOURAGEMENT. Stage 4 cancer does NOT have to be doom & gloom. I was diagnosed at age 44, January 2009 with Stage 4 metastatic breast/liver cancer. I had been in remission for 2 years when I found out that the cancer had returned. I am currently back on systemic chemo. Your mother needs to know that you can LIVE with Stage 4 disease. Yes, it may be “up & down”. It can be done! Stage 4 cancer at times, is like living with a “chronic disease”. I’ve met so many amazing survivors along this journey. That’s just what it is….a journey. I live by three things everyday….1) FAITH in the Lord…...“The Lord will not leave you nor forsake you” 2) POSITIVE attitude! You can find anything positive out of anything negative…..sometimes you may need to search….it’s there. 3) REASON to LIVE…..my reason is….my three school aged-children. The Good Lord has given me three wonderful years of life after my initial diagnosis. I have a long time goal….minimum of 20 years! I need to get my children grown & raised. God wants us all to have goals. I want your Mother to know that God is with her & she is certainly not alone! How fortunate your mother is to have such a caring, loving and compassionate son or daughter to ask for prayer for her! I know that you not only have the individuals that have commented, praying for your mother…..others as well! Every day your Mother wakes up…is a day that she is a survivor!! Some how, some way, please keep your Mother encouraged. She can FIGHT this!!!  “With God, all things are possible” ~Matthew 19:26 May God Bless you!! :)
