Restoration of Marriage

My wife and I have been experiencing marital difficults. Although she has filed for divorce, we are considering backing away from the cliff of divorce and having a period of separation with a covenant. We are currently living separately. I have
been meeting with a christian counselor for several weeks and she is going to begin meeting with the same christian counselor next week. We hope to eventually move on to christian marriage counseling. Please pray that the Lord would work mightily in each of our lives and that He would protect us from ungodly counsel of family and friends. We have been married almost 20 years and have four minor children. I believe God desires to save our marriage and she is having some regrets about filing the divorce. I pray that she will withdraw the divorce petition and allow God to heal our
marriage. Thank you.
